For Authors

Bring your manuscript to the world

We are always interested in manuscripts that combine originality, literary quality, and international potential. Whether you are seeking a traditional publishing agreement, international rights representation, or long-term career development, we aim to build lasting partnerships with our authors.

Submission Guidelines

To help us evaluate your work efficiently, please follow these guidelines

  • Submit your manuscript as a Microsoft Word (.docx) or PDF file.
  • Include the title of your manuscript in the subject line of your email.
  • Provide your full name, contact details, and a brief introduction about yourself.
  • Include a short description of your manuscript, its genre, and its intended readership.
  • Novels should be submitted as complete manuscripts. For short stories or poetry, please submit a complete collection rather than individual works.
  • Ensure that your manuscript is as polished and complete as possible before submission.
We review all submissions carefully in the order they are received. Due to the volume of manuscripts, we are unfortunately unable to provide individual editorial feedback on works that we do not decide to represent.

Our Approach

Working together, on your terms

All agreements are made in writing, shaped around you, your goals, and your wishes. We are highly selective about whom we choose to work with. We bring more than 30 years of experience in writing, editing, publishing, and rights representation, but we will never pressure you into doing anything. With us, everything is handled through open conversation and collaboration.

As of July 2026, Raven Quill has publishing and rights agreements covering manuscripts by four international authors. These manuscripts represent powerful, highly engaging stories with exceptional literary quality and broad reader appeal. We believe they have outstanding international potential and expect that one or two will become internationally successful titles, while the remaining manuscripts are expected to achieve strong success in their respective domestic markets. To date, we have evaluated more than 140 manuscripts, and this work continues. We value every author and the hard work behind their manuscripts.
